Privacy Policy

Account data: When you sign up via Clerk, we receive your name, email address, and profile image. We do not store passwords — authentication is fully managed by Clerk.

Usage data: We collect anonymized usage metrics such as page views, feature usage counts, and session duration to improve the product.

Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with a transaction reference and the amount paid.

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the ClipMidas service.
• Process token purchases and manage your account balance.
• Send transactional emails (receipts, account alerts).
• Improve and optimize the product experience.

ClipMidas processes videos entirely in your browser. Your video files are never uploaded to our servers. Audio is sent to our AI transcription partner (Groq) for captioning, but the audio is processed in real-time and not stored after transcription completes.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Clerk — Authentication provider.
• Stripe — Payment processing.
• Groq — AI transcription (audio data only, not stored).
• Vercel — Hosting infrastructure.

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at privacy@clipmidas.com. Upon deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days.

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions (Clerk) and basic analytics. No third-party advertising trackers are used.

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@clipmidas.com for any data requests.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of ClipMidas after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
